  1. 01
    Capture

    Messy inputs become structured specs

Drop in PRDs, meeting transcripts, Slack threads, or rough notes. Spectrace extracts the intent, structures it into user stories and measurable acceptance criteria, and asks the clarifying questions before a line of code is written.

  2. 02
    Implement

    Context for humans and agents

The full spec lives in your IDE and in the agent doing the work. Hand it to Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex from the Spectrace extension. On paid plans, Claude Code, Cursor and Codex can also read it live over MCP. Auto-tick criteria as you go, and every push re-checks the PR against them.

  3. 03
    Verify

    Proof at every merge

Every PR checked against its requirement. Evidence and a verdict per criterion, posted back to GitHub or GitLab, so reviewers see what actually shipped against what was asked for.

Built for the teams defining the work, and the agents doing it.

Integrations

Drops into the stack you already use.

Issue sync with Jira, Linear and GitHub Issues, a native panel in your editor, and a hosted MCP server on paid plans: Claude Code, Cursor and Codex connect with one URL and an API key, and Claude Desktop connects through a local bridge.
